

Requests for delivery within Washington State, and those which require travel out of state are handled similarly.
Responsibilities of the requesting organization include the following:
- Provide 30 day prior notification to HSI staff, as well as at least three possible delivery dates. This includes; class date, time and location.
- Selection, booking, and any costs that might be associated with the use of training site.
- Communication of intended student names and numbers to HSI, at least 1 week prior to delivery date. Please note: There is a 20 student minimum, and a 50 student maximum.
NOTE: If you would like your delivery to be tailored to your jurisdiction (ERIFS is written generically), HSI will work with you to bring in local response experts from your area.
HSI Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver Emergency Responder Interface with Ferry System course.
- Communicate three possible delivery dates, times, and locations, provided by your organization, to our master trainers.
- Communicate confirmed delivery date, time and location to you as soon as it is known.
- Provide Department of Homeland Security certificates to all students that pass the ERIFS post-test.
- Enter names of those that have completed the Train the Trainer version of ERIFS into the HSI Trainer Database. This resource is available to support local, on-going training in your jurisdiction, whether within in or without Washington State .
